SAAC
What is SAAC?
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a student-athlete governed committee that serves to ensure that the needs of the athletes on campus are being met. SAAC offers the opportunity for input on rules and regulations and other policies that affect the lives of our student-athletes. SAAC is highly involved in activities around campus to promote awareness and appreciation for different causes and charities.
Chatham University Athletics - Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
The Chatham Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes appointed by their coaches to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses. Since 2010-2011, Chatham University's SAAC has been involved with a number of community service projects; some of which include Roar for the Cure to promote awareness and support for Breast Cancer, GLSEN and Changing the Game project, and the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge to support the Special Olympics.
